Easy I-9 Verification

We Make I-9 Verification Easy

The I-9 Form (also known as the Employment Eligibility Verification form) is used by employers to verify employees’ identity and eligibility to work in the U.S. This must be done for all employees, whether they are a citizen or non-citizen, hired after November 6, 1986 in the United States.

HCMN is the Employer’s Authorization Representative
for Form I-9 in the Texas Hill Country.

In the current global workforce, hiring employees remotely is a growing trend. And the federal government is auditing more businesses to make sure they are complying with the requirements to complete I-9 forms for every employee.

Consequently, many employers hire Mobile Notaries to complete Section 2 of the I-9 form on their behalf, working as an Authorized Representative for the I-9.

Steps to I-9 Verification

The I-9 form is broken down in three parts:

Section 1 is reserved for the employee.
Section 2 (and 3 if applicable) are reserved for the Employer or Representative/Notary

As HCMN is working as an Authorized Representative on behalf of the employer, HCMN will carefully examine the employee’s identification card and work eligibility documents as we complete Section 2.

Please remember that the identification provided by your employee must be original documents.

The list of acceptable documents the employee can choose from are included in the I-9 instructions in lists A, B, and C.
